The small Kaika cosmetic pouch is made of unbleached heavyweight upholstery cotton in the Piekana pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. The pouch has a zipper closure, a polyester lining on the inside, and a stain repellent finish on the outside.

The inside lining is made of 100% recycled polyester.

The Piekana (rough-legged buzzard) check pattern was originally part of a collection entitled Iso karhu (Ursa Major), which was inspired by a book depicting the life of the Finno-Ugrian peoples as well as by textiles patterned using the traditional ikat dyeing technique.
