- Materials: High quality Italian hardwood
- Does not contain cadmium or lead.
Care: Wooden items used for serving or preparing food should be washed under running water. They should never be immersed in water or washed in a dishwasher, as soaking may cause the wood to warp or split. They should be dried immediately with a towel, not left to drain.
To maintain the condition of wooden items, a small quantity of edible oil may be rubbed into the wood. Wooden items should be kept away from sources of heat and bright sunlight as these may cause the wood to warp. We recommend Claphman's Beeswax Food-Safe Wood Finish.
Manzoni wood is entirely hand-turned by Italian craftsmen with years of experience. Made from Alder wood from northern Italy, each finished item is carefully inspected for its superb quality and design by a Manzoni family member.
Built on seven decades of Italian woodworking excellence, Pietro Manzoni & C.snc, represents a true family business where tradition meets contemporary design. Founded in 1955, the Bergamo house is now stewarded by three of Pietro's children, who inherited both his craftsmanship skills and his unwavering commitment to artistic quality.
