About

Little King is the culmination and marriage of many years of passionate work and exploration in the fields of design and cooking. It is a homeware and design store that also houses a cafe, which serves simple, seasonal food from morning to afternoon.

We live by the simple concept that if you buy better, you'll replace things less. This is why we stock our store with timeless design that surpasses trend and supports longevity. If we learn to appreciate the items we thoughtfully curate into our lives - we ultimately consume more intentionally and extend the lifecycle of an object. That's why we partner with brands, makers, and producers that prioritize sustainability and green initiatives in their production and packaging process.

We built the space on a strong work ethic and optimism for the future. We built it to be warm, inclusive, and celebratory. It is a place where living and eating well is for everyone.

Who We Are

Jeremy King, Head Chef

Jeremy is a pastry chef and a new permanent resident of the Hudson Valley in New York. Directly before opening Little King he oversaw the construction and first year success of Rose Bakery at Dover Street Market in Los Angeles as the head chef. For many years he worked in New York City in the kitchens of farm-to-table restaurants—most notably Marlow and Sons, Diner, and Saltie—and is very excited to be back in New York state, working with the producers, ingredients, and customers from his formative years as a chef.

Ken Baldwin, Creative Operations

Ken is a creative director in the fashion, beauty, and interiors category. His diverse experience in beauty and creative direction has allowed him to fully understand how to build successful brands and the importance of delivering engaging narrative content. He helps brands launch and envision their story, design, and platforms that connect with consumers in a thoughtful way.

Clover, Mini Aussie

Clover is a dog with over 4 years experience chasing squirrels, taking long naps, and being a lovable source of joy to his owners.
