Retail Sales Lead (Full-time + weekend availability required) Beacon, NY
Location: Little King
Reports To: General Manager
Position Type: Full-Time (34–38 hours/week)
The Sales Lead is the on-floor leader responsible for driving sales, directing the team, and maintaining an elevated customer experience. This role sets the tone of the store and takes full ownership of the floor in the absence of the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Experience
- Deliver personalized, design-forward service
- Actively drive sales through product storytelling and recommendations
- Ensure all customers are greeted and engaged consistently
- Maintain a welcoming, high-energy floor presence
Leadership & Team Direction
- Act as Leader on Duty when needed
- Take on additional responsibilities beyond the floor team, including closing the store, handling returns, and resolving day-to-day issues
- Set clear expectations for team engagement and professionalism
- Direct daily priorities and provide real-time coaching
- Keep the team focused, especially during peak periods
Sales Accountability
- Own daily and weekend sales performance
- Communicate goals and adjust strategy to meet targets
- Report directly to upper management with weekly updates on store performance
Store Operations & Merchandising
- Execute opening/closing procedures
- Maintain clean, stocked, and visually strong displays
- Support inventory and daily operations
Team & Brand Support
- Assist with onboarding and training
- Contribute to social content and in-store events
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and respect
Requirements
- 5+ years of retail or customer service experience
- Strong sales instincts and leadership ability
- Clear communication and professionalism
- Basic POS/computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Position Details
- Pay: $21.00/hour
- Schedule: 34–38 hours/week, 5 days per week including Saturday and Sunday (store closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays)

Retail Sales Associate
We are looking for team members who are passionate about design and enjoy connecting with customers. As a Sales Associate at Little King, you will provide excellent customer service, offer expert product knowledge, and represent our brand with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized and authentic customer service, sharing product knowledge and advice
- Maintain Little King’s visual and operational standards while focusing on the customer experience
- Assist with daily store operations, including inventory replenishment, shipping orders, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
