Svenskt Tenn: Interiors
A special survey published to celebrate 100 years of the influential and innovative Swedish design company Svenskt Tenn
In 1924, pioneering designer and entrepreneur Estrid Ericson founded Svenskt Tenn in Stockholm, Sweden. Originally a pewter workshop and retail store, the company quickly grew into one of the twentieth century’s most influential home furnishings and interior design brands.
Svenskt Tenn: Interiors celebrates the company’s first 100 years and its continued influence on contemporary design. Richly illustrated, the book explores Ericson’s creative partnership with acclaimed Austrian designer Josef Frank, whose bold textiles and furniture helped shape Svenskt Tenn’s iconic aesthetic.
Featuring archival photographs and drawings alongside works by contemporary collaborators including Michael Anastassiades, Lars Nilsson, Luca Nichetto, Ingegerd Råman, and Fornasetti, the book—designed by Dutch graphic designer Irma Boom—highlights how the iconic Swedish brand continues to create timeless, high-quality interiors and objects.
