The fruit is harvested when perfectly ripe and dried in small batches over low heat, preserving as much aroma and flavor as possible. One bite is immediately evocative of the fresh fruit sold around the island.

In March of 2021, China banned imports of Taiwanese pineapples, wiping out 90% of Taiwan’s export market in the middle of harvest season. Inspired to mobilize, Yun Hai collected preorders on Kickstarter for a new dried fruit brand. In the end, crowdfunders submitted over $100,000 in orders and they purchased 14 tons of fruit from Taiwan.

Dried Golden Diamond Pineapple- Tart, Sweet, Aromatic.

Golden Diamond Pineapples are a variety of pineapple unique to Taiwan, famous not only for their flavor, but also their soft, edible cores. These are sliced into thick rings and dried simply without further processing. Each piece is rich with bright pineapple flavor and an aroma unique to Taiwan.

Dried Irwin Mango- Deeply Sweet and Warm.

Irwin Mangoes are the mango of choice in Taiwan, used to make the famous Mango Shaved Ice. They also dry real nice! The fruits are sliced into thick pieces and dried over low-heat, preserved in its own sweetness. Super saturated mango flavor. Soft and supple.

Dried Green Mango- Nature's Sour Gummy.

Made from unripe baby Tu Mangoes 土芒果 (the original Taiwan mango), these are nature's sour gummy: chewy, bright, sweet with an electric tang, an old school Taiwanese treat.

The green mangoes are sourced from family farms in 玉井, who harvest their mango by hand. In order to get big, sweet mangoes at harvest time, the farmers must prune much of the developing fruit on the tree, so the tree directs its resources to the fruit still on the branches. As usual, we don't add any additives or artificial preservatives, and dry them naturally.
