Uji Homare Matcha Green Tea, 100 g
Uji Homare is a creamy and elegant single-source matcha from Uji, produced from select first harvest leaves. Uji Homare is produced in the famed Kohata region, known as the birthplace of tea manufacturing in Japan.
With over 350 years of tea production knowledge and experience, this matcha pairs beautifully with milk and has a distinct nuttiness with balanced umami and a pleasant astringency. This dynamic profile also shines in usucha making Uji Homare a versatile matcha for a range of beverage preparations.
Tasting Notes: Nut Butter / Almond / Arugula
Hot: Combine 4g of sifted matcha with 50cc of hot water. Vigorously whisk the matcha in a “Z” pattern until a fine foam appears (approx. 15-20 seconds)
Storage: Keep the tea in the refrigerator. After opening, place the package in a ziploc bag before returning to the fridge - this will protect the tea from absorbing any aromas from your refrigerator.
