History:
The Baba Watermill was founded 100 years ago by the village members jointly, and now is owned and run by the Babas, husband and wife duo. Deeply rooted in the local community in Yame, southern Japan, the duo has a strong passion to carry on the area's legacy of forestry-based manufacturing in the best way possible. The mill constantly receives visitors who are keen to learn from this successful model of sustainable community business. There are no man-made chemicals used in this item, instead, a small amount of Japanese bay leaves are mixed in to serve as natural resin.
